Conjunctivitis

The conjunctiva is a thin, transparent membrane that covers the inside of the eyelids and the white part of the eyes (sclera). Inflammation of this thin and transparent membrane is called “conjunctivitis”. Conjunctivitis makes the blood vessels larger and more prominent, causing the eyes to appear red. It can occur in one or both eyes. What are the symptoms of conjunctivitis? Increase in irrigation Pain in the eye Eye itching Excessive discharge from the eyes Crusting on eyelashes in the morning
