Dünyagöz Foundation was established in 2011 in order to ease the burden on the government caused by the public services it provided to treat eye-related health issues.Our goals were to conduct scientific research in areas of diagnosis and treatment; establish educational institutions; participate in and contribute to the activities of public agencies and institutions, establish health units for diagnosis and treatment, and to monitor and present to the public the advancements and developments in eye health with national and international studies.
The aim of the above-mentioned services is explained below.
Research and Development (R&D) Activities
To emphasize the importance of eye health; encourage clinical and scientific studies in areas of protection from eye diseases, diagnosis and treatment
Education & Training Activities
To make progress in the protection from eye diseases, diagnosis and treatment alternatives; to open courses and schools to contribute to international eye health
Scientific Activities
To follow scientific developments in the area of eye health and to provide an exchange of information and experience in collaboration with universities and other educational institutions; to evaluate and encourage national and international scientific studies and discoveries in the area of eye health
Public Activities
To develop policies by tracking and evaluating the substructure and qualification of health care services offered in the area of eye diseases; to inform the public and relevant institutions regarding these issues and make suggestions if necessary; to collaborate with NGOs in line with their purposes
International Activities
To conduct collaborative works by following international developments and implementations in the area of eye health; to develop projects; to introduce the lives of famous blind and sight impaired people that have contributed to humanity

In accordance with its purposes, publishing awareness-raising catalogues, films, brochures and books; holding conferences, panel discussions and seminars
